Chairman's Message:

As a lifelong New Yorker who was blessed with an exceptional education and has spent the last 30 years on many educational boards, I have been long concerned over the lack of first-rate educational options available to the very New York City students needing them most. A few years ago, I decided to do something tangible about this problem and began spearheading an effort to create a brand new charter school. It would be, I imagined, a "perfect little school in Harlem," where students can receive an extraordinary education. Already, Harlem Day is a wonderful little school where students are learning at an impressive rate and we are receiving positive feedback from the institutions charged with monitoring our progress. If you have been one of our supporters, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again. If you have not supported the school and you are so inclined, please join us as we continue to make Harlem Day Charter School into a school we can all take pride in.
